Here's how Sarah's conversations go these days as she is attemping to talk--it's really cute:
Walking in the door after a long day and dinner out:
Mommy: "Are you ready for a bath?"
Sarah: "No" (ahhhhh! My little girl has learned to say "no!")
Mommy: "Do you want to play?"
Sarah: (smiling) "Pay...."
In the playroom after dinner:
Sarah: gets "the look"
Mommy: "do you need to go poo-poo?"
Sarah: "poo-poo"
Mommy: takes Sarah potty and she GOES IN THE POTTY!!!!!
Sarah: "down"
Sarah used the potty for me on Tuesday night and again tonight. Tonight she got "the look" while sitting in the bathtub--ewww! Luckily we made it onto the potty in time...Big Girl Sarah!

She is awesome! Don't you love being able to have a conversation with her? I remember my first real conversation with Melanie was about a cat she saw in a trash pile that jumped out at her. It was so neat to ask questions and get answers. Hooray for poop in the potty!
